CX1

The CX-1 represents the top of the line monocoque frames from Colnago, the front triangle is a monocoque structure where the seat and chain stays are lugged to the frame, this to improve the handling of the CX-1. Expect the ride of the CX-1 to be fast, aggressive especially on climbs and sprints you will feel the CX-1 performing with no loss of power transfer or handling. The polygonal shape of the top and down tube of the CX-1 does increase the lateral stiffness so no loss of power is experienced. The lugged seat and chain stays are designed to give the rider maximum control and power transfer during a descent, sprint, climb and braking.

The CX-1 will be built in Asia with a monocoque front triangle and separately lugged and bonded B-Stay-like seat stay and chain stay assemblies.  Main tubes bear a multi-sided polygonal profile while the stays are treated to a somewhat more traditional shape.  In a first for Colnago, the CX-1 will also make use of a semi-integrated internal-cup headset.

In typical Colnago fashion, the CX-1 will be offered in a generous spread of eight sizes (sloping only) with effective top tube lengths ranging from 51-59cm
